After a long trip FC Toreros Tokyo arrived on Thursday afternoon at Zaventem Airport in Brussels (Belgium), from there they got on a bus to a 4-star hotel in Antwerp. During dinner, FC Toreros Tokyo met the other Japanese team, Kashiwa Reysol. When everyone finished their dinner, they all had the opportunity to catch up with each other and to make some fun.

On Friday FC Toreros had an early breakfast, followed by a training session. After the training they had lunch in the hotel, which was in walking distance from the training field. After their lunch the coaches gave their player5s some time to rest to prepare themselves for the friendly match against Zulte Waregem in the afternoon. That evening, everyone went to bed early to be well rested for the next day’s Kingslize Future Starts Mechelen U12 tournament.

The next day, the Kingslize Future Stars Mechelen U12 was about to start. After having a good sports breakfast at the hotel, the bus was boarded in the direction of KV Mechelen’s training complex. It was time for the group phase were FC Toreros faced NAC Breda, Alemannia Aachen, KVC Westerlo and KAA Gent, who were their first opponents.FC Toreros became fourth in this though poule, but the next day there was still enough to play for.

Sunday was the last day of the tournament and the last day of FC Toreros in Belgium. First, they played the semi-final against NSU from Norway, an exciting match that was unfortunately lost 4-3. The final for the 19^th or 20^th place awaited FC Toreros with IF Gnistan as their opponent. After an unfortunate ending Toreros ended in the 20^th place. Even though the result wasn’t wat the team hoped for everyone still left the field with a big smile on their face. Being proud of what they achieved together in a foreign country!
