Morocco Tour
Tour Overview
In October this year the U18’s of Denmark travelled to Morocco for a training camp. Next to training there was time to discover the Moroccan culture and two friendly matches were played.
This October the Danish football team U18 went on a training camp to Morocco. After a late arrival at Rabat Airport on Tuesday, everyone headed to the hotel and went to sleep, so they would be well-rested for the first training session the next day.
The morning began with medical checks and a nutritious athlete’s breakfast, followed by the first training session at the IFRC University. After nearly two hours of training, the team enjoyed a relaxed afternoon and finished the day with dinner at the hotel.
The second day was similarly to the first day, dedicated to training and rest. Those first two days were a preparation for the first match, that was scheduled for the third day of this tour. This game concluded in a 1-1 draw after a tough but exciting match.
After a few intense first days, it was time for some rest and recovery. The day after the first match, the entire team went golfing together at Royal Golf Dar Essalam golf course. A team-building activity that brought the players even closer and showed the competitive spirit among all players.
The following day was once again dedicated to focused training, with all players working hard to deliver a stronger performance in the upcoming match. Their efforts paid off, as on the last day of the trip, Denmark defeated Morocco U18 with a decisive 4-0 victory. This win served as a memorable end to an unforgettable tour in Morocco.
