Denmark spend a week in Albir, Spain to participate in the Football Federations Cup organised by Orange Veins.
Staying at the same resort (Albir Garden Resort) as the other teams allowed for a lot of friendly competitions playing the foosball, pool or F1 simulator between practice and games. All practices were held at the newly renovated grass pitch next to the resort.
After a draw against the Netherlands and win against Mexico, on the last gameday all four teams were still playing for the title. In a tough match against Saudi Arabia and trailing behind for most of the match a header in the last minute of extra time equaled the game and helped Denmark to a spectacular finish and triumph in the tournament. Aside from football Denmark went on an excursion through Benidorm which concluded with a fancy dinner at an Italian restaurant.
