The journey of the Eastside FC boys didn’t end by only playing the Bierbeek U13 tournament. The Eastside FC U13 team had the opportunity to play friendly matches against KAA Gent and Zulte Waregem, 2 well known Academies in Belgium. These friendlies provided an excellent chance for the youngsters to test their skills against an established European team and gain invaluable experience on an international stage.

But for the boys of Eastside FC, it didn’t stop there. They also had the opportunity to visit the beautiful city of Ghent, visited the city of Brussels and were given an exclusive tour of both Zulte Waregem’s training complex and the first team’s stadium.

The entire trip to Belgium undoubtedly left a lasting impact on the Eastside FC U13 players. It provided them with exposure to different football cultures, allowed them to build friendships with players from other countries, and helped them mature as both athletes and individuals.
