Mexico travelled to Bali for their preperation-camp prior to the U17 world-cup in Indonesia. The beautiful hotel Swiss-Belresort Watu Jimba equipped with Restaurant, pool, gym, medical room, kit room, meeting room etc. was a quick drive away from the Bali United training facility.
The Bali United training facility served as the hub for all trainings and friendly matches organised by Orange Veins and included 5 brand new grass pitches and facilities right by the ocean. There was also time for a meet and greet with the owner of Bali united and exchange of kits so every player and staff left with their personalised Bali united kit.
Over 8 days, Mexico played friendly matches against Uzbekistan and Japan and held 6 practices. Apart form football there was time to explore the Balinese island and unique culture. Highlights included a visit to the rice-fields, monkey jungle and world famous Tirta Empul temple where they participated in a Purification Ritual.
