Before the Polish team travelled to Spain the team gathered for one final training session to prepare for the upcoming tournament. After this session, the entire group headed to the airport and travelled to Spain. Upon arrival, a bus took the team to Cambrils Park Resort, a resort with excellent facilities such as a restaurant, swimming pool and a fitness center.

On the 11^th of November was a special day as the team celebrated Poland Independence Day together as they marked the start of their training session with a moment of silence for their nation. The first two days after arrival were dedicated entirely to training, with sessions focused on fine-tuning their performance and acclimatizing to the environment. In addition to training, the team held several meetings to ensure they were fully prepared for the first match. In their opening game they faced Korea Republic, which saw the team perform well resulting in a 2-1 victory over the Tigers of Asia.

The second match took place the following day against Denmark who started their tournament with a 4-0 demolition of Saudi Arabia. At that point in the tournament it was already set up as the game of the tournament to see who would take full advantage of the tournament.

Denmark proved to be a tough opponent, and despite 90 minutes of hard work and determination, Poland suffered a narrow 0-1 defeat.

Before shifting their full focus to the third and final match, a fun daytrip was planned for the team. The players completed a light training session before heading out to enjoy an afternoon exploring the city of Barcelona. The team enjoyed walking through the city discovering its beautiful sights and topped off with a stadium tour of the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium where FC Barcelona currently play their home matches as their Camp Nou stadium is under reconstruction.

On November 18th, the Polish team played their final match against Saudi Arabia. Both teams created plenty of chances and fought hard for victory. It was an evenly matched contest that ended in a goalless draw after 90 minutes. Poland eventually secured the extra tournament point after winning the penalty shoot-out after a stand out performance by their goalkeeper who eventually secured the award of the Best Keeper of the tournament. After three matches, an unforgettable week and securing a very respectable 2nd place in the tournament, the Polish team returned to Warsaw.
