Dominican Republic Tour

Tour Overview

In preperation for the Girls World Cup U17 the Girls squad of Poland travelled to the Dominican Republic early for a pre-camp. This camp was organized by Orange Veins.

In preperation for the U17 Women’s World Cup, the Poland girls team travelled to the Dominican Republic with Orange Veins. During their time here they had several training sessions and played one friendly match. This pre camp provided them with the opportunity to prepare optimally for the Girls World Cup in a calm environment, while adapting to the climate and culture of the region.

After their arrival on Sunday October 6th the squad travelled to the Sheraton Village Hotel in Punta Cana, where they would stay for 3 days. During the first full day in the Dominican Republic the team went to the beach, here they played football, but mostly they had the opportunity to relax and enjoy the beautiful island before the hard work would begin.

The next two days were focused on trainings and meetings. Every day there was a training session between 11.00 and 13.00, in the afternoon there was a moment of rest and the team meeting were also scheduled in the afternoon. On October 9th the team went to a new hotel in the capital, Santo Domingo. During their stay here they played one friendly match and had multiple training sessions. The friendly match was played against the Korea Republic at the Ashton Sports Complex. Conceding only one goal, and scoring four, the girls from Poland won the game with dominance. Next up is the Women’s World Cup U17! Orange Veins wishes the girls all the best of luck!
