The team stayed at the Novotel Brainpark hotel, 10 minutes walking distance from the training ground. At Excelsior Rotterdam training ground, the team had multiple training sessions and a friendly match to prepare for the Orange Veins Cup Rotterdam.

During this two-day tournament Randburg AFC played matches against big European clubs like: AIK Fotboll, Aalborg BK, SC Heerenveen, Excelsior Rotterdm and Paris Saint Germain. The lads from Randburg represented their club and developed further by playing matches against big clubs from different cultures. Next to playing games themselves, the young players could watch great games from other teams.

A tour like this is a great experience for young players to develop themselves on and of the pitch. Friendly games against other international youth teams are a good tool to measure the level with peers from other countries and to prepare your team for big tournaments.
