KV Mechelen win Kingslize Future Stars Mechelen U12!

This weekend the first edition of the Kingslize Future Stars Mechelen tournament took place at the youth academy of KV Mechelen. With 20 teams from all over the world participating, it was a tournament filled with great football, passion and entertainment.

The tournament ended in a thrilling final between KV Mechelen and KVC Westerlo, both teams gave it their all but in the end, it was KV Mechelen who dominated, with a 6-1 win, they were victorious. Not only during the final, but the whole tournament KV Mechelen was on fire, winning every game they played.

With only 4 goals conceded throughout the entire tournament, the goalkeeper from KV Mechelen,  was named Goalkeeper of the Tournament. Additionally, the MVP and Top Scorer award went to the same team, with Vince Verelst claiming both titles.

Two special teams were present at this tournament, Kashiwa Reysol and FC Toreros Tokyo travelled from Japan to Belgium in cooperation with Orange Veins to participate in this tournament. In the days before the tournament both teams played a friendly match, trained and got to know the Belgian culture during a sightseeing tour. At the tournament FC Toreros Tokyo became 20th, Kashiwa Reysol finished in an impressive sixth place and took home the fair play award.
