The national football team of South Africa is nicknamed Bafana Bafana. This is Zulu for ‘go boys, go boys!’.
In the South African Premier Division teams like Orlando Pirates, Kaizer Chiefs and Cape Town City FC compete for the cup. One of the most famous clubs from South Africa is Ajax Cape Town, who work together with AFC Ajax from the Netherlands.
Steven Pienaar, John Obi Mikel, Hans Vonk and Benni McCarthy are among the ones who have played for this club.
