The New York Red Bulls U13 football team had an incredible journey when they traveled from the United States to Belgium from May 31st to June 5th to participate in the prestigious Bassevelde U13 tournament. The young talents showcased their skills and determination throughout the competition, leaving a lasting impression on both spectators and fellow participants.

The Bassevelde U13 tournament is known for attracting top youth teams from around the world, and the inclusion of the New York Red Bulls brought a unique and exciting element to the event. As they stepped onto the pitch, the team was ready to take on the best youth talent that Europe had to offer.

But their journey didn’t end there. The New York Red Bulls U13 team had the opportunity to play a friendly match against Royal Antwerp, the leading Belgium champions. This friendly provided an excellent chance for the youngsters to test their skills against an established European team and gain invaluable experience on an international stage. A big thanks to US National Team player Sam Vines, who welcomed the team and showed them around.

The entire trip to Belgium undoubtedly left a lasting impact on the New York Red Bulls U13 players. It provided them with exposure to different football cultures, allowed them to build friendships with players from other countries, and helped them mature as both athletes and individuals.
